E.A. Mattes has designed an intelligent solution for saddle pads that effectively keep the saddle and the pad together. The Saddle-Fix® system is unique to Mattes, and you can order your saddle pad specifically made for this accessory. Note that it can easily be unattached and reattached. Essentially, the saddle pad features two eyelets in the spine-free gullet that allow the Saddle-Fix strap to run under the pad, up through the eyelets, and attach to the front and back of the saddle. Thus ensuring the pad and saddle stay perfectly positioned. Available only from the mind of Mattes!
